What's Happening In Milton Keynes This Summer

Summer might feel far away at the moment with the cold winter we’re having, but there are plenty of festivals, fairs and shows planned for Milton Keynes that’ll get you excited for the sunshine to arrive.

What's Happening In Milton Keynes This Summer 2018

From May onwards Milton Keynes is home to a wide range of events that’ll cater for every member of the family. We’ve rounded up our top three below:

Great Linford Parish Summer of Fun 2018

Great Linford Parish covers Blakelands, Bolbeck Park, Conniburrow, Downhead Park, Downs Barn, Giffard Park, Great Linford, Neath Hill, Pennyland, Redhouse Park & Willen Park, but tickets are open to non-parish members as well.

Their summer of fun consists of a wide range of activities for the whole family, including: dancing, clay modelling, archery, adult guitar, family ballet, family pilates, laser tag, kayaking, self defence, cookery, juggling and circus skills and ninja warrior training.

The event runs from July 23rd until August 24th, and tickets need to be purchased directly with the Parish Council at their office at Great Linford House. Ticket prices are yet to be released, but they are expected to be announced this Spring, and residents of the Parish will begin to receive leaflets via their child’s school bags at the beginning of July.

Toggest 2018, free entry for under 10’s

Togfest will be celebrating its 21st year in 2019. It is a two day music festival with live music, camping, food, bars and free events and activities for children under 10.

Located at Bradwell Abbey and the City Discovery Centre, tickets start from £25.00 (or £15.00 if you’ve visited Togfest before) for the full weekend including camping, with discounted tickets for ages 10-17 (£12.50) and free entry for children under 10.

Togfest is a family-friendly event that promises original live music of every possible genre. It is a ‘not for profit’ event, and the crew and performers all give up their time for free in order to help the festival grow.

Their aim is to unite those who love to play with those who love to listen, showcasing new talent alongside experienced acts.

50% off for Local Residents at Bletchley Park this summer

Up until the 30th of June, residents that bring proof of residence with them to Bletchley Park can claim a 50% local residents discount, as well as free entry for those under 12.

This gives you access to their special summer events, including the Father’s Day Barbeque on June 17th and their 1940’s Vintage Weekend which runs from the 26th-28th May.
