Milton Keynes accountancy firm Hillier Hopkins strengthen their senior team.
Grant Franklin, who recently stepped down as Managing Principal after eight years, has joined the team from the firm’s Watford office and James Johnson has been promoted to Director.
Grant has been with the firm since 1986, when he joined as a student, and was appointed Managing Principal in 2011. He works with owner managed businesses, charities and has expertise in forensic accounting.
James joined the firm as part of a merger in October 2010 and has more than 20 years’ experience. He supports entrepreneurial and family businesses with pro-active personal and business tax planning together with a range of compliance services. James commented, “Milton Keynes is a great place to
do businesses and it’s exciting to be part of a growing team here at Hillier Hopkins - I’m looking forward to my next phase as Director.”
James is keen to offer clients a full range of opportunities to increase their knowledge and progress. He has launched a series of HiFlyer workshops in collaboration with a range of experts on topics such selling your business, improving profitability and understanding your business numbers. The next
workshop is on 29 July and is open to all businesses, bookings can be made through the Hillier Hopkins website. He also runs various drop in clinics in the area where businesses can get free information and help from a range of experts in tax, law and investments.
